A family of Sasquatches fights to survive in an American woodland in Sasquatch Sunset. Along with their son and another family member, the mother and father stroll. The screenplay by writer/co-director David Zellner is entirely grunt-heavy. Sasquatch Sunset is not for everyone who is searching for a traditional storyline or anything of the sort. The film receives some credit for its audacious and non-traditional idea, gorgeous surroundings, and outstanding costume designs, but not much more. While some of the situations are just cringe-worthy, there are a few obscene moments that will disgust viewers. The main problem with the movie, though, is that it gradually runs out of ideas and turns into a monotonous trudge interspersed with some gorgeous natural landscapes.
